Get up to $840 back on an energy-efficient dryer
Bye bye, old dry
Heat-pump clothes dryers are an energy-efficient alternative to traditional dryers. They're popular in Europe, but rarely used in the US – until now.
Instead of releasing warm, humid air outside, a heat pump dryer sends moist air through an evaporator, and then recirculates the dry hot air. The process takes a bit longer to dry clothes but only uses about half the electricity.
Because these dryers are so much more efficient than conventional electric dryers and gas dryers, they help you save money on each load of laundry!
What’s the gist?
How to save - You’re eligible for a rebate of up to $840 when you invest in an energy-efficient dryer.
Who qualifies? - Everyone, however, low-income households could receive up to 100% back for home efficiency appliances like clothes dryers.
When is it available? - Not quite yet. Our best guess is rebates will start to become available by the end of 2024.
