Homeboy Electronics Recycling

Homeboy Industries began in 1988 with a goal of improving the lives of former gang members in East Los Angeles. This local organization has grown into a global network that works with organizations across the globe to create therapeutic communities that offer job skills training, cost-free programs and services, and social enterprise employment.

As one of the few R2 (Responsible Recycling), ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and B Corp™ certified companies in the world, they are committed to the highest possible standards for electronics reuse, e-waste recycling, and the destruction of sensitive data. And they do all of this while providing on-the-job training and employment for people who face systemic barriers to work.
